Charitable Giving

Young leaders are an important thread to continue the generosity of past leaders. Financial contributions are important to all comunity causes. Without philanthropy, many worthy organizations would not be able to continue the important services they provide.

YLS members will review and analyze community needs, review and tour local nonprofits, and determine where YLS membership funds will be dispersed. By understanding the process of fundraising, as well as evaluating and prioritizing community needs, YLS members take ownership of our community.

Leadership Giving

YLS members are expected to invest in their community through United Way. You may write a check or spread your contributions throughout the year. YLS members are invited to invest at a minimum gift of $500, with the expectation of reaching an annual Leadership Level gift ($1,000) by their third year as member.
