Who can become a member?

Community oriented individuals or couples in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s contributing a combined annual gift of $1,000 or more to United Way may become members of the Young Leaders Society.

Membership Step-Up Program

To provide a broader group of donors with the opportunity to participate, we have established a "step-up" program. Those currently not giving $1,000 may enter the YLS by giving $500 their first year of membership, with a commitment to step up to $1,000 by the third year of their membership. The suggested step-up schedule is $500 the first year, $750 in year two, and $1,000 by year three.
