Advocating for the Common Good

Successful advocacy can take many forms: exercising your right to vote, volunteering on a political campaign, taking a stand on an important public policy issue, presenting information to elected officials and working with community organizations.

United Way of the Columbia-Willamette supports advocacy through involvement in state and local legislation. We support local efforts that seek to increase human services funding or improve public policy by giving a voice to underrepresented communities.
