By making an annual contribution of $1,000 or more, you and other Leadership donors set a standard for caring and play a vital role in making our community a better place for everyone. 

Reaching the $1,000 level of giving is easier to reach than you think. You can join Leadership Circles by giving as little as $20 a week through regular paycheck contributions and many companies will match their employees’ donations. Spouses or domestic partners may also combine their gift to be recognized at higher Leadership Giving levels.

Recognizing your Leadership

United Way offers a variety of exclusive benefits to help thank you for your generous Leadership contribution. 

$1,000 - $9,999

• Receive special reports on community results
• Invitations to special events
• Name listed in annual report
• Receive Making an Impact newsletter and special e-news updates
• If you're between 21-40, consider joining the United Way Young Leaders Society. A Leadership Giving "step-up" program starts at $500. 

$10,000 - $24,999

Recognition as a member of the local and national Tocqueville Society invitations all United Way events, exclusive Tocqueville Society events, and annual Major Gifts Reception

• Invitations to and preferred seating at all United Way events
• Name listed in annual report
• Recognition on website
• Inclusion in the national Tocqueville Society annual Book of Leaders and in United Way of America’s Tocqueville Society directory
• Receive Making an Impact newsletter and special e-news updates
• Receive special reports on community results
• Special Tocqueville Society lapel pin

$25,000 +

• Recognition as a member of the Rose Society
• Benefits listed above plus special recognition  in United Way’s Tocqueville Society annual recognition book
