Volunteering

People volunteer for a variety of reasons. Many feel compassion for those in need, some want to "give back," and others are passionate about the issues facing our community. Whatever your own reasons, we have many great options to get involved that match your interests and location preferences.

• At United Way
  Be an important part of United Way and volunteer with us! You can help review requests for funding, support United Way at events, build partnerships and communicate our impact. [ email us ]

• Corporate Volunteering, families or groups
  United Way can match you, your family, co-workers, and friends with ways to make a difference in your own neighborhood. We're working to identify community needs for team volunteer events. [ email us ]

• Individuals
  We've teamed up with Hands On Greater Portland to provide ways to get involved. Volunteer opportunities are available in Multnomah and Washington counties.
