Types of Volunteer Opportunities

Nordstrom

Nordstrom Vancouver employees volunteer to paint the YWCA Clark Couny child care facility.

Hands-on volunteer events: Participate in a meaningful volunteer activity tailored to your company’s interests and needs. Events can be light, medium, or heavy duty and range from helping an agency at an event to painting and landscaping.

Material donations: Start a collection drive at your company to help a Community Impact partner distribute items such as food, school supplies, personal hygiene items, and blankets, to those in need. United Way provides attractive, heavy-duty donation boxes.

Holiday giving: Adopt a family or buy toys for children who would otherwise go without. Our comprehensive list of service opportunities will match you with the season’s critical needs.
