2,874 people volunteer for their community on Jan. 13-16, 2012

MLK Volunteer PhotosThe fifth annual United Way Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend of Service was a huge success and drew 2,874 volunteers, including 1,200 students from Campus Compact, to more than 100 projects across the Portland/Vancouver metro area. 

Volunteers provided local nonprofits with 10,346 hours of volunteer time equal to $209,514.
