Take the United Way Small Business Challenge
Participate in the Small Business Initiative Matching Grant Challenge
United Way is thrilled to announce a generous matching grant of $10,000 to challenge local small businesses to participate in our new initiative. Any small business contributions will be doubled up to a total of $10,000 by December 31, 2011 thanks to this grant.
No one person or organization can solve our community's tough issues alone. That's we need the support from your small business to fund critical programs focusing on education, income and health in the Portland-Vancouver metro area.
On behalf of yourself as a small business owner or your company, join us today in meeting our challenge by considering a gift that will be doubled thanks to the matching grant. You own one of nearly 20,000 small businesses in the area, imagine the impact if each business gave just $100.
Benefits to Your Small Business
By supporting United Way of the Columbia-Willamette, your small business will experience many benefits including:
- Build trust and increase goodwill among customers.
- Research shows that consumers are more likely to spend their money with businesses that are actively giving back to the community.
- Gain visibility with the approximately 30,000 annual United Way donors on our website, newsletters and social networking followers on Facebook and Twitter.
